Rocker Beck has treated staff at his record label to a waffle breakfast to celebrate his Grammy Awards win for Album of the Year on Sunday night (08Feb15).

Employees of Capitol Records were told to expect deliveries from Waffles De Liege on Friday morning (13Feb15) as a thanks for all the work they had put in promoting his 2014 release Morning Phase, which surprisingly beat out Beyonce's self-titled album and Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour to the big prize at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

A leaked email about the waffle treat, sent out on Thursday (12Feb15), reads: "DICtionary.com defines Waffle as 'to speak or write equivocally' ...but it is with No equivocation that we say Thank You for everyone's hard work in helping 'Morning Phase' to win not only the Grammy for 'Best Rock Album' but also for the 'Album Of The Year'.

"It was a great night and it's a victory that we all share. As a means of keeping the celebration going just a little bit longer, we're sending over our friends from the Waffles De Liege food truck tomorrow morning."
