Fox Previews Dark, Gritty And Batman-Less New Series "Gotham" With Extended Trailer

Benjamin McKenzie Jada Pinkett-Smith

It lives – the first trailer for Fox’s Gothamis here. Fox’s crack at an Agents of SHIELD-type franchise (get over it, everything gets compared to the Marvel cinematic universe now) looks a lot more dark, gloomy, brooding… much like DC Comics movie adaptations of late. Oh, and did we mention it stars Ben McKenzie? As in Ryan from The O.C.? That’s probably an important thing to mention.

Watch the full-length trailer below.

The trailer is pretty epic, especially for a TV show. Apparently Fox are placing heavy bets on this project.
