Fact: Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Queen Latifah, and Motown founder Berry Gordy were among those who gathered to honour singer Teena Marie at a private memorial service at California's Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Monday (10Jan11). The singer died on 27 December (10) of natural causes.

Fact: A rare Motown record has become the world's most expensive disc - going under the hammer for $25,742 (£17,800). The seven-inch vinyl record of Frank Wilson's DO I LOVE YOU (INDEED I DO) was one of only two surviving copies of the single after Motown boss Berry Gordy destroyed the rest when Wilson quit performing.
