Big Sean and Naya Rivera have announced that they’re calling it quits on their engagement and the entire relationship. The couple, who have been engaged for about six months, are calling it quits early on, a rep for Big Sean has reportedly confirmed to Billboard.

Big Sean, Naya Rivera
The couple spent about a year together in total.

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," reads the statement from Big Sean's camp. "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."

The statement refers to unconfirmed rumors published recently, which claimed that the 26-year—old rapper had been cheating. The accusations were never confirmed. In fact, an independent source has denied the rumor for Us Weekly.

Naya Rivera
The Glee actress says she drew inspiration from her rapper fiance.

The relationship originally evolved from Rivera and Big Sean’s (real name: Sean Anderson) creative partnership. Last year was a big one for the Glee star and her rapper boyfriend. While Rivera worked on kickstarting her solo career, BS put out his fourth solo album, Hall of Fame, under the Def Jam Label. He also had a guest verse on Rivera’s first solo single, Sorry.

"I think he's incredibly talented, and has a great ear," Rivera told Billboard of Sean last September. "He's the big dog, and I'm just a little Chihuahua trying to come up."
