The 66 year old's fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, gave birth to daughter Della Rose Joel in New York in the early hours of Wednesday (12Aug15), his representative reveals to People.com.

The baby's arrival comes just weeks after Joel and Roderick tied the knot on America's Independence Day (04Jul15).

Little Della Rose is Joel's first child with Roderick.

The Piano Man hitmaker is also dad to singer Alexa Ray Joel, 29, his only child with model Christie Brinkley, who he was married to from 1985 until 1994.
