Bobby Brown apologised to fans for being in a ''different zone'' during a gig at the weekend.

The 46-year-old singer - whose daughter Bobbi Kristina was moved to hospice care last month, almost five months after being found unresponsive in her bath - opened for Mint Condition at the Affordable Old School Concert Series at Wolf Creek Amphitheater in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday (04.07.15).

Though he insisted he was ''happy'' to take to the stage, the 'Two Can Play That Game hitmaker' was sweating profusely and had to stop several times during his short set.

He told the crowd: ''Sorry, I'm in a different zone tonight. Y'all got me sweating and dancing. I'm so happy to be here tonight.''

However, the interruptions didn't seem to upset the audience.

One onlooker told Us Weekly magazine: ''Fans loved his performance.''Bobby did his New Edition classics and busted out into some of his signature dance moves, but had to stop several times during the 30-minute set.''

Bobby's New Edition bandmate Johnny Gill recently admitted his friend's state of mind is ''not good'' because of his daughter's fragile state.

Johnny said: ''State of mind? In a nutshell, not good. Not good. We just had a conversation yesterday. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

''It was no secret that Bobby and Bobbi Kris had an estranged relationship for a certain period of time. One Father's Day, it was a few years back, she called and he was just so over the top and elated that she had reached out. They started from that point to rebuild that part of their relationship.''
