He tells Australian publication the Inner West Courier, "I'm in the studio now recording what is probably going to be my last album. I'm moving on to other things man."

Brown is due to start his rescheduled Australian tour at the end of next month (May15), and insists he is looking forward to it, adding, "I'm in a happy place right now with my life, wife and my kids, and another on the way. I can't wait to return (to Australia). I'm going to give you my past - my past is Every Little Step and My Prerogative. I'm going to give the fans the old school."

Brown is expecting his second child with his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown.
