Rockers Bon Jovi are planning to crash one lucky school's college graduation ceremony as part of a new contest.
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi reveals the band's song Reunion, from their latest album This House Is Not for Sale, inspired the idea for the competition, which will also land one group of seniors the singer as their commencement speaker.
"I know, having two kids graduating college this year, the joy that families that have gone through the years with their children getting ready for this moment," the father-of-four explained on U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America. "The idea that we would come by (to perform)... it's pretty neat."
The It's My Life hitmakers will play Reunion live for the graduating students, and the track is particularly apt as it's about making "the best of the rest of your days" before returning years down the line for a class reunion.
Fans have been encouraged to share their best college moments on social media by using the hashtag #JBJReunionContest, with the lucky winner of the competition, held in conjunction with MTVU, MTV's college network, scoring the performance of a lifetime for their fellow students this year (17).
