Bristol Palin 's new reality series 'Life's a Tripp' will debut on June 19, 2012, on the Lifetime network. The 14-episode show will follow the daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and the pressures she faces raising her toddler son Tripp, reports the Associated Press.
It will also follow Palin's daily life, and her relationship with the other members of the Palin brood, particularly her mother Sarah and father Todd. The former first daughter of Alaska became a worldwide figure in 2008 after she became a single teenage mother - despite her mother's strict Republican politics. She appeared to gain popularity with a plucky performance on Dancing With The Stars in 2010 and made it all the way to the final, despite some critics writing her off within the first couple of weeks. Last June, Bristol published her best-selling memoir 'Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far', in which she candidly discussed personal aspects of her life, including her tensions with the MCCain family. The book received mixed reviews, though briefly appeared on the New York Times bestseller list in July 2011.
The forthcoming television show follows her mother's reality series 'Sarah Palin's Alaska', which began airing on TLC in November 2010.
