Brokeback Mountain, CRASH, CAPOTE and GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK have been nominated for awards by the Producers Guild Of America (PGA) and Writers Guild of America (WGA).

The four films, together with Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line, have been nominated for Best Picture at the PGA Awards, which takes place on 22 January (06) at the Los Angeles Universal Hilton.

In the new animation category, Chicken Little will fight MADAGASCAR, ROBOTS, TIM BURTON'S CORPSE BRIDE and Wallace And Gromit: THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT, while Clint Eastwood will be honoured with the Milestone Award for his long film career.

Arrested Development, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, Desperate Housewives, ENTOURAGE and TWO AND A HALF MEN are up for the Danny Thomas Producer Of The Year Award for episodic TV comedy, while 24, Boston Legal, GREY'S ANATOMY, Lost and Six Feet Under will fight it out for the Norman Felton Producer Of The Year Award for episodic TV drama.

In the WGA Awards, which will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium and New York City's Waldorf-Astoria on 4 February (06), Brokeback Mountain, Capote, The Constant Gardener, A History of Violence and SYRIANA have received nods for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Meanwhile, Crash, Cinderella Man, THE 40-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN, The Squid and the Whale and Good Night, And Good Luck are up for Best Original Screenplay.
