Brooke Mueller is planning to move out of the gated community in Los Angeles, where her neighbours include her ex-husband Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denise Richards, so her brother can look after her sons in her house.
Brooke Mueller is looking for a new home.
The 36-year-old socialite is planning to move out of the exclusive gated community Mulholland Estates, where her neighbours include her ex-husband Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denise Richards, until she regains primary custody of her sons, Bob and Max, with the 'Anger Management' star, so that her brother, Scott Mueller, who secured temporary guardianship of the boys last week, can look after them in familiar surroundings.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Scott is moving into Brooke's home in Beverly Hills today (12.11.13) and she believes she is not legally allowed to stay there with the boys until her custody rights are fully restored.
The insider said that she began shopping for condos in the same area on Monday (11.11.13).
Scott, who lives in Orange County, California, decided to move into Brooke's house to look after the boys - after Denise made the ''difficult decision'' to give up caring for them as a result of their ''violent behaviour'' towards her daughters - because the judge felt it was important that Bob and Max stay in the same school.
It was originally thought that Brooke would be allowed to stay in the house, which legally belongs to Charlie, and care for their sons under her brother's supervision.
Brooke, who has been to rehab 21 times, has allegedly agreed to have her sons tested for ''fetal alcohol and drug syndrome'' to see whether they have mental and physical defects which can develop in a foetus due to high levels of alcohol consumption during pregnancy.
It is believed the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) thought it was a necessary move and Brooke - who went to rehab twice while pregnant due to her addiction to crystal methamphetamine - wants to cooperate as she wants to regain full custody of her sons as soon as possible.
