Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich and Mary-Louise Parker star in RED 2 - the sequel to RED - which is scheduled to be released on August 2, 2013.
Praised for its wit and style, RED proved to be an unexpected success, and while not every critic was impressed, a worldwide gross of $186,100,000 certainly pleased the studio. RED 2 brings back the team of retired CIA operatives as they use their old-school style to take on a new set of enemies all across Europe. Filming started in Montreal in September.
The all-action all-star sequel sees the high-budget stunts return, and, as you can see by the trailer, Zeta-Jones and Willis share a rather weird kiss. The mission takes Frank, played by the now 57-year-old Willis, and his motley crew to Paris, London and Moscow. Outgunned and outmanned, they have only their cunning wits, their old-school skills, and each other to rely on as they try to save the world - and stay alive in the process.
