Rumer Willis recently completed a stint in the Broadway production of Chicago, and she returned to the stage in the Big Apple on Wednesday (04Nov15) for a one-off variety show.

The 27 year old was supported by both her parents, who sat in the audience at the Feinstein's/54 Below venue to watch their daughter perform Homage, which featured renditions of classic show tunes and pop hits.

Rumer performed tracks including Amy Winehouse's Back to Black, and a number of songs with her best friend Tye Blue, including Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's classic Ain't No Mountain High Enough.

She won rave reviews for the show, with Joe Dziemianowicz of the New York Daily News praising her voice and stage presence.

"Rumer Willis' New York cabaret debut was special even before it began... She wasn't just another celebrity spawn having a go at it - this was one professional and polished 27 year old... She showed off a smoky and soulful voice that sometimes brought to mind Adele and Billie Holiday."
