Will Shaw is a young Wall Street trader, who comes from a well off family. One summer, they all decide to holiday in Spain, on their yacht. Will meets them at the airport and they head to their boat together.
It falls upon Will to head back to the mainland for more supplies and he leaves the boat without a second thought to his mother and father. When he returns, it's to a spookily quiet yacht - his parents have been kidnapped and there's blood on the sheets.
Will returns to shore to tell the police, but they seem reluctant to help him. Later that night, Will comes across the police again, who restrain him. A mysterious man, around his age, appears to have information about Will's parents and even implies that he has taken them.
Will lashes out and escapes by car. The police chase after him but they run into trouble when someone fends them off. That someone is Will's father, who owes his son an explanation. Will's father is a CIA agent, something that he never told Will.
All of a sudden, Will has less than twenty four hours to find his family, or they end up dead. A woman, who claims to work with his father, meets Will and tells him he must find a briefcase his father took; in return, she will help him find his family. Will has no choice but to go along with her but will he ever see his family again?
