The Touch It hitmaker took to social media over the weekend (28-29Nov15) to warn fans about a "false advertisement" floating around the Internet, calling on female models to audition for a new Busta Rhymes promo.

The star insisted the ad was a "lie", adding, "I'M NOT SHOOTING A VIDEO AT ALL ON NONE OF THESE DATES SO WHOEVER IS BEHIND THIS DON'T BELIEVE THE F**KERY (sic)!!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! DON'T BE FOOLED!!!!"

However, Busta has since admitted he was misinformed and the auditions, which had been slated to take place on Monday (30Nov15) and Tuesday (01Dec15), were actually for real.

Returning to Instagram.com on Monday to repost the information, he confessed, "OK TO EVERYONE THAT SAW MY 1ST POST ABOUT THIS NOT BEING OFFICIAL WAS BECAUSE OF A MISUNDERSTANSING INTERNALLY. IT WASN'T COMMUNICATED TO ME INITIALLY WHO THIS CASTING AGENT WAS SO I THOUGHT THIS WAS A MAJOR FRAUD ALERT BUT I JUST GOT OF THE PHONE WITH MY PRODUCTION MNGR (manager) AND THIS SHOOT IS REAL!!"

The promo is being filmed for Busta's star-studded Hot for the Holidays concert in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday (05Dec15), when he will be joined onstage by artists including Mariah Carey, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Mary. J. Blige, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Fetty Wap.
