The 65-year-old former Olympic Athlete and patriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner reality family was involved in the crash which took place in Malibu on Saturday afternoon. The incident reportedly occurred around 12.12pm, according to reports in the NY Daily News

"We have deputies on the scene, working a fatal traffic collision at PCH [Pacific Coast Highway] and Corral Canyon Road. It happened at 12:12 p.m. There were three vehicles involved," an LASD source told the Daily News.

An eyewitness, who works near where the accident took place, was surprised there was a crash on that stretch of road as there is very little traffic. The source, speaking to USA Today, further suggested the paparazzi may have been chasing Jenner as they were at the scene immediately. This explanation has also been cited by sources speaking to MTV who further claim Jenner told police, at the crash site, he was being pursued by paparazzi before the crash.

Jenner has recently made headlines as sources close to the Kardashian-Jenner family have confirmed he plans on announcing he is transitioning to a woman on an upcoming reality series. Neither Jenner nor any member of his family has yet to directly address his alleged transition.
