Actor Cameron Thor has been charged with the alleged kidnap and rape of a teenage girl.

The 54 year old, who has appeared in Jurassic Park and Hook, was arrested in connection with allegations he assaulted a 13 year old between 2008 and 2009 after she approached him for acting lessons.

He was charged with 11 counts, including kidnap, robbery and rape, on Wednesday (04Jun14) and appeared at Van Nuys Courthouse in California on Thursday (05Jun14).

Thor is being held on $2.6 million (£1.6 million) bail.
