Cara Delevingne claims no-one has ever done anything ''super romantic'' for her.

The 22-year-old model-turned-actress has revealed she's never been on the receiving end of any huge, romantic gestures, despite the fact she has written poems and sang songs for her love interests in the past.

Speaking on BBC Radio 1, she said: ''I'm a hopeless romantic. I've done some outwardly romantic gestures. I've written songs for people, serenaded people with poems.

''I think it's always better to wait until someone does it to you. Because, to be honest, I don't think someone's done something super romantic for me.''

The 'Paper Towns' actress' girlfriend, musician St. Vincent, proved Cara to be correct just two weeks ago when the stunning star splashed out on a pricey, personalised gift for her as a token of her love.

Along with a picture of a signed guitar on on Instagram, she wrote: ''An Airline Twin Tone guitar signed by David Bowie. Thank you,@caradelevingne. Best gift ever in the entire world. (Heart emoji...) (sic).''

Nevertheless, Cara - who will celebrate her 23rd birthday later this month - has previously described their relationship as ''a miracle''.

She said: ''I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I'm feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle.

''Women are what completely inspire me, and they have also been my downfall.''
