Cara Delevingne returns to the big screen in Michael Winterbottom's psychological murder thriller 'The Face Of An Angel' based on the true case of Amanda Knox. It marks the first of a string of movies she has lined up to properly kick start her acting career.

The charismatic British model, best known for her extraordinary eyebrows, will make her second feature film appearance, having previously starred as Princess Sorokina in the 2012 adaptation of Tolstoy's 'Anna Karenina'. This time she plays a tour guide named Melanie who befriends a filmmaker named Thomas (Daniel Bruhl) in this unusual story of a brutal murder, with an unlikely suspect at the bottom of it. When a beautiful young woman named Elizabeth (Sai Bennett) is found dead in Italy, her supposed friend Jessica (Genevieve Gaunt) immediately faces scrutiny; however, with her own good looks, she seems just as unlikely a perpetrator as Elizabeth was a victim. Kate Beckinsale plays Simone Ford, a writer who's been obsessively covering the case from the beginning.

Adapted from the case study book 'Angel Face' written by Barbie Latza Nadeau, this long-awaited film is brought to you by BAFTA winning director Michael Winterbottom ('24 Hour Party People'). It's based on one of the most disputed murder cases in history; that of the Meredith Kercher in 2007, whose flatmate Amanda Knox went through months of court appearances before being given a custodial sentence in 2009.

'The Face Of An Angel' isn't Cara Delevingne's only upcoming feature flick either. She's completed filming on romance 'Tulip Fever' starring Christoph Waltz and has also been shooting another murder mystery, 'London Fields' with newlyweds Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, an adaptation of John Green novel 'Paper Towns' and Joe Wright's forthcoming Neverland epic 'Pan', in which she will play a mermaid.

Her most recently announced film, though, is super-villain action epic 'Suicide Squad' in which she has been announced to star as Enchantress. A shame; with her cheeky wide grin, heart-shaped face and super expressive eyebrows, not to mention naturally mischievous personality, she'd make a wonderful Harley Quinn. Alas, she was beaten to that role by Margot Robbie.
