Veteran singer Carly Simon is finally putting pen to paper to write her autobiography.
The You're So Vain hitmaker, 66, has been mulling over the idea of documenting her life for the past two years and she has now secured a deal with Random House to publish the book.
According to a press release, the memoir will chronicle "the discovery of her life-altering stammer, her meteoric rise and unparalleled career in music, and her loves, including her marriage to James Taylor".
Simon will have no problem recalling the events of her past - she previously revealed she had kept a daily diary from the age of seven up until her split from rocker Taylor in 1983.
A release date has yet to be determined.
