Cattle & Cane unveil a simple, countryside video to their debut single 'I Will Rise' which they released on June 24th 2013 through Toasty Records alongside a B-side entitled 'Red' which they have offered as a free download.
The video features the four siblings playing electric, bass and acoustic guitars and singing along while enjoying a gloriously sunny day by the hills and lakes of their home country. While the scenery itself evokes feelings of peace, reflection and general contentment, the upbeat layered melodies and spine-tingling vocal harmonies make it a warm, contemplative number and the perfect soundtrack to the summer.
Cattle & Cane have had an excellent start to their music career, with two acclaimed EPs; 'Sold My Soul' and 'Cattle & Cane'; recognition from the likes of iTunes and BBC 6Music, sold out shows and their music being used on several TV shows and commercials. Frontman Joe Hammill even landed himself an Alan Hull Award for young songwriters in the North East - an accolade set up by folk rock band Lindisfarne's frontman. The band have currently been performing a handful of dates and will support Half Moon Run on July 2nd 2013 at The Deaf Institute in Manchester.
