Award-winning Tv editor Marco Zappia has died at the age of 76.

Zappia passed away on 22 December (13) in Ventura, California, according to Deadline.com.

He began his career in 1968 when he joined U.S. network CBS as an engineer. He landed his first editing job on U.S. variety show Hee Haw. The gig led to Zappia scoring his first Emmy Award in 1971; he won his second a decade later (81).

He would go on to work on several Tv shows and specials including Who’s The Boss?, Boy Meets World and Suddenly Susan.
