Cheryl Cole assumed it was a good idea to wear a tight fitting leather dress to her pal Kimberly Walsh's birthday party in London last night (November 21, 2012), despite intending to eat until she couldn't eat no more. Cole, 29, opted for the nude coloured dress from The Row, though told fans she had well and truly scoffed her face at the upmarket eatery Zuma.

The singer matched the £1,800 dress with nude stilettos though opted against a jacket, despite the chilly London weather. Joined by band-mate Nicola Roberts and birthday girl Kimberley Walsh (who was sensibly wrapped up), the girls seemed to be in high spirits, though Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding were nowhere to be seen. The Irish singer reportedly spent the evening at Home House in Portland Square, though it's not clear why she decided against attending the birthday bash. Nevertheless, Kimberley, Cheryl and Nicola got stuck into a three-course meal and had a jolly good time. Cheryl tweeted, "Almost ate myself to death with the girls KimberleyJWalsh NicolaRoberts why did we do the desserts?" Roberts responded, "I can't even think about it! I feel sick! Help me pls!" Walsh added, "Asking myself the same question! Time to undo the leather trousers I think."

Girls Aloud fans have seen plenty of Cheryl Cole this week, after her ITV2 reality show premiered to strong viewing figures. It focused mainly on her relationship with the American backing dancer Tre Hollywood, who the singer was seen happily kissing and cuddling. In one scene, the Geordie star picked up a gossip magazine and jokingly asked Tre, "Did you know we're getting married in the winter?"
