Brown's portraying the local bad guy well
Chris Brown has annoyed his neighbours with some pretty abrasive artwork featured on his wall. The rapper/r&b star has a load of ‘monsters’ emblazoned outside his house, and the community aren’t happy.
The artwork in question
Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association has been busy answering loads of calls complaining about the graff. "There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened. It's like devils on the wall - big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we're used to," Negri told LA Times. "I know a $300 fine is probably pocket change. But hopefully and maybe, he'll just see the light and decide to be a good neighbor," Negri said. "We're happy to have him - if he just tones it down." Chris is ordered to remove the graffiti within 30 days, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. "They are trying to suspend the 1st Amendment," said his lawyer Mark Geragos, who is defending the controversial star.
The attorney adds that it's the neighbors who are harassing his client. "I'm scared of neighborhood busybodies like this," he said. "They've called animal control. They have sicced parking [enforcement] on him, and now they reached the heights of ridiculousness here. Shame on them."
