Chris Pratt has revealed that he now has a clause in his contract that states he won’t shoot any of his movies abroad. This isn’t because he has a fear of flying or anything like that – he’s just a big softie, and wants to be close to his young family.

The Jurassic World actor and all-round flavour of the year told Entertainment Weekly Radio: “I don't wanna go across the Atlantic Ocean because it's just too far to go that way, and so far people have been accommodating.”

Pratt, 35, has seemingly decided to take advantage of some of the perks that come with being the most in-demand actor in the world right now, as an insistence on a clause of this kind is the sort of thing you can get away with only if you’re a megastar. If executives have a problem with it, he’ll apparently say: “Listen, I'll do this movie but you have to give me 20 plane tickets and I'm gonna need these two weeks off.”

His comments shortly after he revealed that his busy schedule means he often has to keep in contact with his family via “FaceTime, phone calls, videos, pictures, and Skype”, ever since he became an international sensation following Guardians of the Galaxy smashing box offices worldwide last summer.

Pratt and his wife Anna Faris, 38, have a two year old son Jack together, and he told Today recently “As long as your kid knows that you are and that you're responsible for their upbringing, their childhood is going to be great. He's ever going to have a shortage of love around him.”

“[The other morning] he snuck into our room and didn't tell us he was in there until we heard him yawn. He just wanted to be there with us. We were like, ‘Come on up, buddy!’ Those moments make it all worth it.”
