The trailer for the 'LEGO Movie' is here and it looks awesome!
Just the idea of a LEGO movie is enough to make minds explode with excitement, so if your brain is still currently on the inside of your skull then it's time for some serious movie-stalking because The LEGO Movie is more real that you can even begin to comprehend.
Lego The Movie - Temple Gathering
The film will leave no stone unturned in the Lego Universe and will feature a host of special guests from Batman to the Little Mermaid and from ninjas to those random LEGO spacemen that every collection seems to have. What did we say about head-explodingly-good?
From the makers of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs - directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller have teamed up once again for the feature-length LEGO adventure - the film features a stellar cast to voice the all-star group of small, yellow characters, with Parks and Recreation's Chris Pratt taking on one of his first starring roles in a major motion picture when he voices Emmet, a regular Joe who just so happens to be the unsuspecting saviour of the LEGO-land.

As well as Pratt there's also Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Will Ferrell, Alison Brie, Nick Offerman and Elizabeth Banks due to appear in the film, with Arrested Development's Will Arnett handling the speaking arts of Batman; a role he was born to play. The story itself follows Emmet as he is mistakenly identified by the grand wizard Vitruvius (Freeman) as the Master Builder who can protect the world from any imminent danger. Despite being dangerously underprepared, unskilled and downright unsuited for the job at hand, Emmet joins forces with Vitruvius, Batman and co. as they track their nemesis down before havoc can be wreaked upon the world any further. Can Emmet live up to the expectations thrown at him and save the LEGO universe, or could this turn out to be the darkest kids film in recent memory. We'll assume it's the first one.
The LEGO Movie is out on February 7, 2014 and arrives in the UK a week later on Feb 14.
