Christina Aguilera might be about to make her return as a judge on NBC singing competition ‘The Voice’, but the pop diva proved she has more than a few ‘voices’ in her repertoire, when she appeared on Monday's edition of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'. The host challenged Xtina to a game of ‘Wheel of Musical Impressions’ while on his sofa, but Fallon probably wasn’t expecting his guest to be such an expert mimic.

Christina Aguilera could have fooled us with her Britney impression.

Aguilera was first challenged to sing the "Folgers Coffee" jingle in the style of her Burlesque co-star Cher, which she managed perfectly. Then Fallon’s turn came, where he delivered a pretty impressive impression of David Bowie, if he were to sing ‘You're a Grand Old Flag’.

New mom Christina Aguilera is certainly looking to have a very busy 2015. The singer, who will be returning to her duties on ‘The Voice’ for the show’s eighth season, will also be taking a trip to ‘Nashville’ soon, to play a pop diva with country aspirations.

People magazine announced the singer had signed on for a guest stint on the ABC drama and revealed she will play a character named Jade St. John. The magazine described St John as “a pop superstar who’s been going pretty much nonstop since she broke out a decade ago.”

But now, out of the goodness of their hearts (not a need for extended publicity), the A-list couple have announced said baby name. And the newborn is called… get ready… deep breath… Summer Rain Ruttler!

As glamorous as she is, apparently Xtina has a secret inner hippie.

If you thought noone could outdo Kim, Kanye and North West… well, you’re right, but this one is definitely up there in the top ten of hippy dippy baby names. Of course, we wouldn’t expect anything less of the woman, who once chose Xtina for her stage name.

On Saturday (Aug 16th) in Los Angeles, Christina Aguilera gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The four-time Grammy winner welcomed a newborn baby daughter, which is her second child, into the world with her fiancé Matthew Rutler.

The newborn baby is Aguilera and Rutler's first child together

Aguilera is already a mother to a 6 year-old son, Max Liron, from her previous marriage to Jordan Bratman, but this is Rutler's first child. The following day, the 33 year-old songstress took to Twitter and revealed to her 12.9 million followers the name of her newborn baby.

The New Orleans Jazz Fest finished on a high note on Sunday May 5. Montreal-based band Arcade Fire had local musicians Pinettes Brass Band onstage with them, providing accompaniment and, at one point, a wordless rendition of Wake Up.

The night before had belonged to The Boss. Saturday night saw Springsteen take to the stage, opening with High Hopes, the eponymous track from his latest album. The Queen of Gospel Mahalia Jackson appeared at the first event alongside renowned orchestral composer Duke Ellington, and from then on the festival has gone from strength to strength and has never once lost the spirit that has made it so loved.

No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani is reportedly about to become latest addition to ‘The Voice's’ judging pannel, replacing the pregnant Christina Aguilera. The NBC show, which has already added Pharrell Williams to its season 7 lineup, is said to have signed Stefani for one season to fill in for the expectant Aguliera.

TMZ broke the news, reporting that Gwen has signed on for season 7 of the talent show, which begins taping in June. The deal is said to be only for one season as Aguilera has decided to bow out as she is pregnant with her second child, due later this year with fiancee. It's also reported that NBC wanted Aguilera to stay but the singer was having a difficult time already.

Gwen Stefani may be joining The Voice as a judge for the upcoming seventh season. Reports suggest Stefani is close to signing a deal with the show's network, NBC, to appear as a judge on The Voice for one season.

Stefani, according to reports in The Wrap, appears to be filling in for Christina Aguilera who is currently expecting her second child. Aguilera has served as a judge for the show since 2011 but is taking time off during her pregnancy. She is expected to return for the eighth season of the show so Stefani may be a temporary replacement.

We never would have pegged Gwen Stefani as the reality talent panelist type, but apparently, money talks and former 90s punk talent listens. Stefani is reportedly in talks to replace fellow blonde pop star Christina Aguilera. Reports are unclear on whether the deal has been made final, but according to “official sources” for TMZ, Stefani has already signed on for next season. Season 7 starts taping in June.

After four seasons on the show, Aguilera is taking a break to have her second child.

Christina Aguilera announced her exit from the show back in February, along with her pregnancy. It makes sense for the big-voiced singer to take a season of maternity leave, of course, given that she will be eight or nine months pregnant by the time the battle rounds begin. According to TMZ, NBC wanted Christina to stay during her pregnancy but she's having a difficult time already and ultimately bowed out.

It looks like congratulations are in order for Christina Aguilera, who is not only newly engaged, but also expecting. Last week, the singer announced that she was engaged to boyfriend Matt Rutler, whom she met on the set of her 2010 movie Burlesque, where Rutler was working as a production assistant. Apparently the nursery rhyme was correct in this case, because less than a week later, Aguilera is announcing her pregnancy.

No news yet on what the pregnancy will mean for Aguilera's next season on The Voice.

Sources for People, who made the announcement,  report that the couple could not be any happier. The engagement was announced right around Valentine’s day last week, by Christina herself. The Voice coach tweeted a short message to her fans: "He asked and I said……," and included a sweet photo of her hand, with the new addition of a gigantic diamond ring, holding Rutler’s hand with some beautiful beach scenery behind them. What an excellent way to pop the question.

Christina Aguilera accepted her boyfriend Matt Rutler's proposal on Friday (14th February). The 33-year-old 'Beautiful' singer met Rutler on the set of Burlesque, in which she was starring and he was working as a production assistant.

Christina Aguilera is engaged! 33-year-old Aguilera tweeted the news of her engagement on Valentine's Day, attaching a photograph of her hand entwined with now fiancé Matt Rutler's. In the background of the photograph is lush greenery and a light blue sea but all eyes are definitely drawn to Aguilera's huge diamond ring!

The couple are rarely photographed in public together, here in 2011 is one of the few occaisons.

Aguilera tweeted the news of her engagement. She wrote "He asked and I said." before attaching a photograph of the two holding hands and Aguilera wearing a large diamond ring. A source, speaking to People, said the couple are "very much in love and are really excited to take this next step!"

The final standings for season five finale of The Voice featured two of Adam Levine's acts, with Will Champlin and Tessanne Chin representing the Maroon 5 singer, and Christina Aguilera's 16-year-old protege Jacquie Lee. After 13 weeks of hard fought contest, the three became two and then two became one, as Tessanne Chin was crowned the newest winner of NBC's singing contest.

Levine scored his second win in the contest, whilst Christina will have to wait a while longer

It was a second win for Levine as a judge and few could begrudge Chin for winning the contest after 13 solid weeks of top quality performances. On Tuesday (17 Dec.) night the Jamaica-born singer was picked ahead of Champlin, who placed third, and Lee, who came second, not just based on votes from the American public, but on her merit as an artist, as seen throughout the latest season. The final votes took into consideration the contestant's success on iTunes and other fields away from the show, and it was Chin who was the clear favourite to win from the get-go.

Tuesday’s semi-finals of The Voice provided a tense show, as the last remaining contestants battled it out for one of the three spots in the semi-finals. At this point it was anyone’s game, but with three contestants left, Adam Levine was the one mentor with a clear advantage – especially considering the powerhouse performance delivered by Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin. Chin belted out a rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water,' which earned her a standing ovation from the audience and from an awed Levine. And now we get to the major spoilers.

Levine and Aguilera are the last mentors left standing.

"That was crazy what just happened," Levine said, via People. "The sheer talent is just ? I think that is probably the most flawless and graceful performance I've ever heard on this show."

Last night (18 Nov.) on NBC, we came no closer to discovering who might be the first contestant to be booted out of the Top Ten on The Voice, after all of the remaining performers gave it their all and performed to their best. With Team Blake and Team Adam still sitting pretty with all three contestants, and with Team Christina and Team CeeLo having lost one each, the race was still wide open, as the closely-fought contest showed how much fight was left in the contestants. Carson Daly, Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton have an impressive top ten left

Up first was Austin Jenckes, singing 'Your Love' by The Outfield. Still in need of finding his "breakout song," Jenckes seemed to do just that on last nights episode, as all of the judges were left thoroughly impressed by the singer as he finally came into his own. Both Blake and Christina were left impressed by the build of the song and although Adam was critical of Austin's lack of range on the song, the overall response was purely positive.

Miley Cyrus performed at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (25th August) and managed to make the entire audience cringe. She appeared on stage performing a remix of her summer song 'We Can't Stop' and Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines'. Thicke joined her on stage with dancers in teddy bear costumes. If the ensemble wasn't bizarre enough, Cyrus' choice of outfit and props raised even the most liberal of eyebrows.

Cyrus initially appeared on stage clad in a bustier with a silver teddy bear face emblazoned on the front. She later stripped down, whilst performing with Thicke, to a strange flesh coloured bikini. She also acquired a giant foam hand which she preceded to use as a prop symbolising male genitalia. Cyrus continued to place herself, using Thicke as a prop this time, in sexually suggestive positions. Thicke appears to have poured himself into a black and white striped suit and, wearing a gold chain, looks like the epitome of sleaze.

Get ready to settle down in your favorite chair with a little pile of peanuts because The Voice is on its way back for a fifth series. Judges Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine and Carson Daly took to the stage on Saturday evening (July 27, 2013) for the Summer TCA press tour, reports E! Online.

Aguilera took a season off last time out to focus on her latest album, though she was in good form at the panel event over the weekend. "Well I understand that I am coming back to the Blake Shelton show at this point," she joked, referencing the country star's three victories out of the past four cycles.

Though The Voice has been praised for its refreshing take on the stale reality singing show format, it's no secret that the show is yet to produce a real 'superstar.' With Simon Cowell bolstering his X-Factor line-up, are the judges feeling the heat?

Christina Aguilera explained why she decided to take a season off from the televised singing competition The Voice. The singer stated it was due to her family commitments and the pressures of constantly living in the public eye. She spoke to the press at the NBC segment of the Television Critics Association Summer Tour, held in Beverly Hills.

The New York native has been appearing on television since she was ten years old. Understandably, constant media attention for the majority of her life has left her wary of the strains it can place on family life. She has one son, Max, about who she said "he starts kindergarten this fall, I'm excited about that". She also discussed her dual role as pop star in public and mother at home: "the cameras go off, I go home, I put on sweats and a T-shirt. The red lips come off. I check out and I'm mom and I needed some time, I needed some time to do that".
