Fact: Director Christopher Nolan's hit 2000 thriller Memento is set for a revamp. AMBI Pictures officials have picked up the rights to the film and will finance and produce the remake. The original starred Guy Pearce as a man suffering from memory loss who is tracking down his wife's killer.

Fact: Filmmaker Christopher Nolan made a surprise visit to the 2014 Comic-Con in San Diego, California on Thursday (24Jul14) during the Paramount Pictures panel to promote his highly-anticipated sci-film thriller, Interstellar. He was joined by the movie's star Matthew Mcconaughey, and the two teased the film before its arrival in cinemas this November (14). The visit was both Nolan and MCConaughey's first ever appearance at the annual convention.
Fact: Director Christopher Nolan cast over 1,000 extras for The Dark Knight Rises instead of using special effects to insert crowds during post-production. Actor Christian Bale explains, "The (extras) came at midnight the night before, just to start getting ready for it - just an enormous amount of people. It's choreographed - to a point.
