Cilla Black fans have spoken out about their love for the entertainer in the only way they know how - by buying the singer’s The Best Of album and catapulting it up to number 14 in the album chart. This is Cilla’s highest charting album in 47 years and her first entry into the Top 20 for 30 years.

Fans also pulled out all the stops to get Anyone Who Has A Heart in the Top 40 singles chart but it narrowly missed out, instead making it into 41st place.
Earlier in the week the song, that was written by Bert Bacharach and Hal David, hit 39th place in the chart but unfortunately even dedicated fans couldn’t help it to stay there.

Tributes have been pouring for the former Saturday night favourite who passed away at the weekend at her holiday home in Spain.
Cilla’s family revealed that the star’s post-mortem showed she had died from a stroke after falling and hitting her head on a wall while sunbathing on her sun terrace.
The British star, who was 72 at the time of her death, had spent 50 years in show business and was a regular favourite with shows including Blind Date and Surprise Surprise.
