The film has made $337.2 million (£224.8 million) at the U.S. box office. It qualifies as a 2014 release because it hit select cinemas on Christmas Day (25Dec14). Guardians of the Galaxy comes in third on the list of U.S. box office high earners in 2014 with $333.18 million (£222 million).
