The group split in 1995 following the death of founder member Eazy-E, and despite several partial reunions, the remaining members - Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, and DJ Yella - have not performed together publicly since the break-up.

Rapper Ice Cube is scheduled for a slot on the bill of Coachella in California in April (16), and he has revealed he is planning to reunite the full band line-up and even hinted Eazy-E could join the group in hologram form by stating the concert will contain "some great visuals".

He tells U.S. TV show The Talk, "I've got some tricks up my sleeves... I'm gonna try to bring the members of N.w.a. together. Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.w.a., West Side Connection, everything I've been doing over the years."

The iconic hip-hop collective will not be the only band making a comeback at Coachella - Guns N' Roses stars Axl Rose and Slash will reunite for the first time in more than 20 years to headline the 2016 event.
