Things are going very, very well for the actress and the Snow Patrol musician.
Courteney Cox may have still been legally married to ex-husband David Arquette this time last year, but things are already going so well with new beau Johnny McDaid that Cox may be looking at making the big commitment all over again. Well that's what Ed Sheeran has hinted to The Daily Mirror anyway. The British singer-songwriter has been living rent-free with the Friends actress recently which has perhaps allowed him to gauge Courteney and Johnny's relationship status.
Things Are Going Swimmingly For Courteney Cox & Johnny McDaid.
Sheeran said that the couple were already living together and that things are going rather swimmingly: "I'm not sure that it's public knowledge, so maybe I shouldn't have said anything - but, yes, they're already living together. Things are moving fast. He moved in and, judging by the last time I saw them, they couldn't be happier," he said. "They get on really well and are genuinely good friends, pardon the pun," the pop star added.
When asked if the couple could tie the knot soon, the 'Lego House' singer replied: "I wouldn't be surprised but it's still early days. They certainly enjoy each other's company and feel very comfortable with each other."
Ed Sheeran Has Been Living In Cox's House Recently.
A source has confirmed Sheeran's comments to Us Weekly, adding that a wedding will be happening "sooner than later" and "They are talking about having a child together." Cox, 49, and McDaid, 37, were first spotted out together in December 2013, when they attended the party of Cox's Friends costar and longtime best friend, Jennifer Aniston.
Since then, they have vacationed in Italy together with Cox and Arquette's 9-year-old daughter, Coco. Arquette has even given the Snow Patrol rocker his seal of approval. "He's amazing," the Scream 4 star, 42, said recently. "Great guy. We've gone out to dinner a few times. My whole thing is that, he's a great man and to have someone kind, that you trust around your kid is the most important part."
