Peter Rabbit Trailer

Peter Rabbit (James Corden) is a naughty little critter, easily identifiable by his little blue jacket. His favourite activity in the world is eating vegetables, and more often than not that involves sneaking into the garden of the often exasperated Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson). He takes his friends along with him - some of which you'll definitely recognise from Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle the hedgehog to Mr. Tod the fox - and together they have a whale of a time with an all-you-can-eat buffet of lettuce, carrots and tomatoes.

When Mr. McGregor returns home one day to find his garden ransacked and his house littered with leftovers, he thinks things couldn't get any worse. That is until he realises that there are a load of anthropomorphic animals hiding in his furniture. By the looks of things, he's not the furious farmer we read about in the original story - rather one of Peter's poor victims. But we'll soon discover what happens to the rebellious buck, and whether or not he learns his lesson about stealing from people's gardens.

Beatrix Potter's world famous children's characters have been brought to life in this wonderful CGI / live action comedy 'Peter Rabbit'. Directed by the Golden Globe nominated Will Gluck ('Friends with Benefits', 'Easy A', 'Annie'), who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Rob Lieber ('Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day'), the film is based on the original 1902 story 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit' - with a humorous modern twist, of course.

Daisy Ridley Brings Out Her Inner Rey To Blast Body-Shamers

Daisy Ridley

In a world where people are trying to break down beauty stereotypes and body-shaming, seeing a celebrity get criticized because of their slender frame seems rather pathetic. As much as women and girls are being encouraged to love themselves no matter what they weigh, some people like Daisy Ridley are scorned simply because they happen to have model-esque figures.

Daisy RidleyDaisy Ridley gives inspiring speech against body-shamers

Most people are praising the 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' star for embodying such a powerful female figure on screen, but one person used that image of Rey to take aim at her body in a scathing Instagram post. The image featured a speech bubble above Rey's head reading: 'I can't believe the unrealistic expectations I'm setting for young girls. Who cast me anyway? Don't they know real women have curves?'

Daisy Ridley - Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Interview

An interview with Daisy Ridley about Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens

Not much has been given away about Daisy Ridley's character Rey but here she takes some time out to chat about her character. As well as being incredibly strong and heroic, there's also a simpler side to the character that really made the role quite nuanced. Daisy says that it wasn't what she expected and she thinks might just surprise fans too.

When talking about her responsibility to take on and become such a huge part of Star Wars she says that she hopes it'll please the old fans but equally hopes it'll appeal to a younger audience who might not have already become immersed in the series.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer

It's been thirty years since the Rebel Alliance; led by the noble Luke Skywalker, the intrepid Princess Leia and the lionhearted Han Solo; finally defeated Emperor Palpatine of the Galactic Empire, alongside his redeemed assistant Darth Vader. The second Death Star was reduced to rubble, and the galaxy was free from a tyrannous evil once more. If only that were true. For there can never be good without evil, and sure enough another Dark Lord, Supreme Leader Snoke, has arisen to take the Emperor's place, with even more brutal plans for the civilians across the stars. But this time there are also new heroes, better equipped to deal with the ever looming terror thanks to an example set by the now ageing former Han, Luke and Leia. They are now preparing to help a vindicated former stormtrooper named Finn, an independent scavenger called Rey, and Poe Dameron who is a Resistance X-Wing pilot.

The Inbetweeners 2 Review

OK

Fans of the TV series and 2011 first movie probably won't mind that the filmmakers never bother to develop these characters at all. At least the four lead actors have plenty of charm to paper over the thinly written script, making the most of even the most simpleminded gags while playing up the traits that have kept fans coming back since the TV show debuted in 2008. The actors are now between 27 and 30, but the idiots they play are resolutely stuck in their teens.

Having finally survived high school, Jay (James Buckley) takes a gap year in Australia while his pal Will (Simon Bird) has a lonely first year at university. Even a visit from pals Simon and Neil (Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison) fails to cheer Will up, but a suggestion that they drain their student loans and head Down Under to visit Jay is more like it. Jay has painted a picture of sex-crazed party mayhem, but when they land in Sydney the reality is somewhat different. So when hot babe Katie (Emily Berrington) invites Will to come to Byron Bay with her gang of middle-class hippies, he drags his mates along. But these four guys fail to fit into the backpacking lifestyle, and instead head to the Outback to find Jay's ex.

The film opens in a nicely cinematic style, with slick spoofs of both Harry Potter and Scarface before settling into the usual groove: setting up each sequence as a possibility for sex before everything unravels into humiliating chaos. The problem is that this repetitive cycle is all set-up but almost never any pay-off. A waterslide sequence is a hilarious exception, building a queasy sense of suspense before landing a series of riotously revolting punchlines. But more often the characters are left staring into space before muttering, "OK then," before the screen fades to black as if it's time for an ad break.

Star Wars: Episode VII Plot Leak, Or Luke Skywalker's Severed Hand

John Boyega Star Wars Harrison Ford Daisy Ridley

A Star Wars Episode 7 plot leak, from the usually reliable Badass Digest, has thrown the Universe into disarray this weekend. We're still treating this as a rumour, but if you're totally against hearing anything about J.J Abrams' movie until its release, stop reading now. Check out some casting news instead.

Star Wars Episode VIIA still from the 'Star Wars: Episode VII' script read through

Ok, so according to the leak, the movie begins with a severed hand, gripping a light saber, floating around space. The limb comes to rest on a desert planet, where it is discovered by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega's characters. The pair meet Han Solo and Chewbacca who recognize the lightsaber as belonging to someone they know.

The Inbetweeners 2 Trailer

The four musketeers are back once again after their eventful (and mostly deeply embarrassing) post-A Level escapades in Malia. While we saw them apparently bag themselves the girls of their dreams, unsurprisingly it doesn't look like the romance has lasted and now they are back to their single selves - well, apart from Simon. When Simon, Will and Neil decide to join Jay on his gap year in sunny Australia, Simon struggles to dump his overbearing and uber needy girlfriend. He's still as awkward as ever, Neil's still stupid, Jay is still a total liar and Will's mum is still fit, but the boys have a brand new car now dubbed the 'Mobile Virgin Conversion Unit'. Armed with sunscreen, condoms and bags of charm, these lads are on one last mission to climb the social hierarchy ladder.

'The Inbetweeners 2' follows on from the pre-university lads' holiday of 'The Inbetweeners Movie'; an award winning big screen spin-off of the popular Channel 4 comedy series. With Ben Palmer having directed the first movie, creators of the TV series Damon Beesley and Iain Morris have taken on the role this time while also writing the script. The movie is scheduled to hit the UK and Ireland on August 6th 2014.

Where Are The Women In "Star Wars: Episode VII"? Here They Are - The Most Wanted In The Business

Lupita Nyong'o Gwendoline Christie John Boyega Daisy Ridley Adam Driver Andy Serkis Oscar Isaac

Good news for Star Wars fans, Lupita fans and just people who enjoy good things in general – Lupita Nyong’o has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. Kudos to whoever is making the casting decisions there, by the way. After the original casting was criticised for basically populating the film with all white men, hiring the most promising young Oscar winner of 2014 is probably the best way to recover.

And in other “awesome ladies, who we’d love to see kick all the tail in Star Wars,” Gwendolyn Christie, aka Game of Thrones’ Brienne of Tarth, has also been cast in Episode VII. Sidenote: if you’re not a fan of Christie/Brienne, we’re not saying you’re wrong, but you definitely aren’t right.
