If you're like us, then a trip to the cinema is the best way to spend the weekend. And if you, like us, saw Skyfall last weekend, then you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd caught the movie highlight of the year already. Wrong! You've got a tough choice between Anna Karenina, Silver Linings Playbook, the full release of Lincoln, and Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 - the final film in the franchise - and we're here to help you out with that tough choice.

Unless you were lucky enough to catch Lincoln last weekend on its limited release, this is the time to see it. Daniel Day-Lewis stars impressively as Abraham Lincoln, as Steven Spielberg auteurs the story of the 16th President of The United States, and his fight with congress to push through the emancipation of the slaves. Drenched in the sweet nectar of Oscar buzz, Lincoln is a film that demands attention, and with excellent reviews so far, it looks certain to top the U.S Box Office come Monday. Check out the trailer below.

If you're still reading, then our sparkling endorsement of Lincoln didn't whet your appetite. Not a problem, have a go at the excellent, Silver Linings Playbook; the romantic comedy that ripped up the rom-com rulebook, and features Bradley Cooper as Pat - the recently released mental patient with an irresistible charm. This weekend sees the limited release of the David O. Russell directed film, and could make a nice change from all those serious dramas we've been having recently. Excellent reviews and possible Oscar talk make this a weekend treat for couples. Watch the trailer below.

Still with us? Then you might be interested in Anna Karenina; set in late-19th-century Russia high-society, the aristocrat Anna Karenina enters into a life-changing affair with the affluent Count Vronsky. Kiera Knightley plays the titular role, while Boardwalk Empire's Kelly Mcdonald plays Dolly. Anyone familiar with the book, or simply up for an epic Eastern European period drama, look no further. To make your decision a little simpler, though, Anna Karenina has performed comparatively badly to our other selections, but don't listen to the critics, make up your own mind. Here's the trailer:

Have we saved the best until last? Probably not. Despite the ridiculous hype behind The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the film hasn't managed to endear the critics. However, fans of the franchise (and we're looking at you too, parents) will undoubtedly have their mind made up before reading this. We don't need to say much. Here's the trailer:
