Actress Rhea Perlman Was Left Stunned At A Recent Low-key Matilda Cast Reunion When She Came Face-to-face With One Of Her Grown-up Child Stars For The First Time Since Making The 1996 Movie.
Perlman and her husband Danny Devito, who both appeared in the film, organised a get together for their castmates - and one young co-star left the actress speechless.
She says, "We had a Blu-ray get together for an extra feature and Danny invited all the cast that were around to our house for Sunday tea.
"Mara Wilson, who played Matilda, was there, and Pam Ferris, who played Trunchbull, and all the kids who are now grown. It was amazing.
"The biggest surprise was Bruce Bogtrotter (Jimmy Karz), who was the fat kid eating all the cake, and this kid is now gorgeous, thin and he is studying to be an osteopath. I was like, 'Wow, Brucie go!'"
