David Duchovny

David Duchovny has become a household name ever since landing a leading role as Agent Fox Mulder in sci-fi series 'The X-Files', working alongside Gillian Anderson, who would step into the fictional partner role of Agent Dana Scully. Originally running between 1993 to 2002, fans of the show thought all was over until a revival was announced and debuted in 2016, leading to a pair of new seasons; one of which is in the midst of airing right now.

Though it's been an exciting few years for those who love the series and the characters that run riot through it, Anderson recently announced that this season would absolutely be her last, and that she would be exiting the series. With no new episodes on her plate, there's the question of whether creators will even want to continue on with the show, and it's that topic of discussion which has been dominating headlines. Duchovny isn't happy.

The new X-FILES trailer isn’t giving much away about the upcoming series but it certainly suggests they’ll be high drama with explosions, military involvement and some pretty intense exchanges between agents Mulder and Scully.

‘X-Files’ fans got a special treat last night at David Duchovny's Cutting Room gig in New York, as the actor and now singer was joined onstage by his co-star Gillian Anderson. Anderson joined Duchovny for a rendition of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young classic 'Helpless’ taken from the group’s 1970 album Déjà Vu.

Gillian Anderson will soon return to TV screen as Agent Dana Scully.

The gig was in support of Duchovny’s debut album Hell Or Highwater, which he released yesterday. Early on in his set, Duchovny was also joined onstage by actress Madeleine Martin who played his daughter Becca on the Showtimes series ‘Californication’ from 2007 to 2014.

Aquarius, NBC's 1960's set crime drama starring David Duchovny, is to be released in its entirety on May 28. The 13-episode season stars the former X-Files man as a Los Angeles detective hot on the trail of cult leader Charles Manson.

Some fans were rejoicing, while others were a little more apprehensive when it was announced last month that 'The X-Files' would be returning for a six episode miniseries on Fox. But at a press call on Friday to discuss his new show 'Aquarius', David Duchovny seemed more that happy to answer any questions regarding the upcoming reboot and hopefully ease the fears of a few fans.

When asked how easy it would be to step into Mulder’s shoes once again the actor said, "I don't know if it's easy yet until I do it But I am looking forward to it.” Duchovny also dished however that he had no hesitations about signing on for the reboot.

Forget the return of the X-Files, because David Duchovny has just blown the David Duchovny comeback out the water by announcing that David Duchovny is to release his debut album, titled, wait for it, Hell or Highwater.

Prepare for the return of Mulder and Scully! Yes after 13 years away ‘The X-Files’ is headed back to our screens for six special episodes on Fox. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will both be reprising their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully while series creator Chris Carter is also onboard.

Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny will both be back for the Fox revival.

According to Variety production on the limited series will begin this summer, although an air date has not yet been set by Fox. 20th Century Fox TV will be producing the six episodes, alongside Ten Thirteen Productions.
