Dead Disco The Treatment Single

Part of the revived Leeds music scene, Dead Disco formed when Victoria Hesketh, Lucy Catherwood, and Marie France discovered they shared a mutual admiration for the likes of The Bangles, Blondie, and Kate Bush. The line up was completed in late 2005 with the recruitment of drummer Damien Campbell, and the band honed their electro-indie sound.

With a riff that begs for attention, "The Treatment" is an impressive debut from Dead Disco. Laden with sci-fi style keyboards, it gradually buries itself in your mind, and has you foot tapping whether you want to or not. In her mature tone, Hesketh sings, "you don't stand a chance" – and she's right, you really don't. With a chorus as infectious as the common cold, Dead Disco have an exciting sound that makes them a wonderful prospect.
