Jake Chambers is an 11-year-old boy who has been having visions of a strange other world in his dreams, characterised by a formidable tower, a man in black and another man known as the gunslinger. These disturbing premonitions aren't something that his therapist can help him with, however, and soon he is sucked into a new dimension; an Old West themed realm called Mid-World that was once populated by knights known as gunslingers and is now slowly dying. It's there he meets the supposed last gunslinger named Roland Deschain and with him embarks on a quest to find the tower in End-World, unlock its secrets and use it to save both his world and Jake's. Meanwhile they have an adversary working against them; the man in black aka Walter Padick is a powerful sorcerer who wants to destroy the tower and therefore unleash hell on both worlds.

From love lives and infidelities to body image, the world of social networking has become a hub for public scrutiny and lack of privacy as the world flock to the net in order to gain acceptance and admiration, to meet potential partners, become famous, or even bully each other. 'Men, Women & Children' looks at the dangerous rise in the sharing of sexually explicit content, cyberbullying and other disastrous effects that the web has had on the Western world.

Woody Watson is an 11-year-old boy with a broken family and an unpredictable future. His father is absent and his mother is in rehab leaving him to be cared for by his grandmother and recently out of prison uncle Vincent in their Baltimore home. His aspirations are questionable, admiring Vincent for his life of crime. One day, while Vincent is supposed to be taking Woody to school, he instead takes him out to the bank where he expected to be granted a loan for his food business. However, he is flatly refused based on his criminal past and he is forced to engage in one more drug dealing job for his ruthless boss Mr. Fish with young Woody looking on. When he witnesses his uncle falling into his violent past, he must choose what sort of life he wants to lead for what was meant to be a lesson in how to be man, has turned into a lesson in how to screw up your life like the rest of your family. Will Woody pick the right path?

'Luv' is the gritty drama based on how a broken family can force a child to admire the wrong sort of people and end up making them make life changing decisions at a very young age. It has been directed by Sheldon Candis ('Young Cesar') who also co-wrote the screenplay with Justin Wilson in his full length feature debut and is set to be released on November 9th 2012.

Jeff Lang is the morally questionable protagonist in this bizarre comedy. After 10 years of marriage with his wife Nealy, he begins to realise that their virtually loveless relationship is on the rocks, and all it took was an invasion of hungry raccoons who destroy the Lang garden and home after discovering a large number of worms in the undergrowth. Jeff develops a fixation on exterminating the raccoons and, along the way, seems to begin to exterminate his own life as he is drawn into a world of infidelity; namely with his wacky neighbour Lila. However, things do not go exactly as he had planned and he seems to wind up destroying his home worse than their garden pests.

'The Details' is a peculiarly dark comedy that certainly has plenty of nervous laughter moments but definitely leaves us feeling uncomfortable seeing the world from a character we don't particularly trust. It is the perfect story about the morally corrupt humans of the world who are not necessarily bad people, merely just instinctive and desperate people who rarely take time to contemplate the feelings of those around them - not dissimilar to the temperaments of the raccoons they so despise. Directed and written by the award winning Jacob Aaron Estes ('Mean Creek'), 'The Details' is set to hit US movie theaters on November 2nd 2012.
