Diana Vickers, finalist in the fifth series of 'X Factor UK' back in 2008, has made a recording comeback after releasing a new track for free. The song's called 'Music To Make The Boys Cry' and marks the first new material released by the 20 year-old since she enjoyed chart success back in 2010.
While all are in a fluster ahead of the current series' of 'X Factor UK' reaching its grand finale this weekend, Vickers has given a strong reminder of why she was one of the few who've gone on to success despite not winning the show. Vickers came fourth in the 2008 version, behind winner Alexandra Burke, though has since gone on to top the album charts in the UK with debut offering 'Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree' and debut single 'Once' in 2010. Last year was a quiet one for the star as she parted ways with her record company but this new track seems to be a return to form.
Entertainmentwise have reported that Vickers hasn't been completely dormant on the work front over the past year, the star enjoying some time writing songs for other people, including the track 'Mouth 2 Mouth' which was a recent collaboration between Jennifer Lopez and ENRIQUE IGLESIAS.
