Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit Logo

The 2013 Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit brings another year of eclectic electronics with rather a large helping of Britain filling up the line-up!

Headlining this amazing festival in Asheville, North Carolina on the last weekend of October (25th-27th 2013) is Nine Inch Nails; unsurprisingly, given their impressive headlining record this year which includes Lollapalooza, Leeds & Reading Festival, Outside Lands and Rock en Seine. Also scraping the top of the bill are Bassnectar and Pretty Lights, but there's something particularly British about a good chunk of the bands that follow.

Synthpop pioneer Gary Numan will be making an appearance ahead of the release of his latest album 'Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)' as well as becoming the subject of an Artist Spotlight interview on the Saturday. He will be joined by London duo Mount Kimbie, UK success Jessie Ware, chart topping quartet Rudimental and Surrey duo Disclosure. The latter have had a particularly good year for festivals here in the UK having thrilled crowds at Glastonbury, Bestival, Leeds & Reading, Secret Garden Party, Latitude and Parklife among others; Mountain Oasis will be one of only a handful of Stateside fests for the brothers this year. They've also reached number 1 in the UK Album Chart with their debut record 'Settle' and still have plenty more UK and US tour dates to get through before the year is out.

Other bands on the bill are Neutral Milk Hotel, Animal Collective, Cut Copy, Robert DeLong and Big Black Delta, and there'll be plenty of seminars and workshops going on at various venues including the Sound and Vision Art Show and the Trash_Audio Synth Event. Price Levels 1 and 2 for a weekend pass are sold out, as are the VIP passes, but you can still purchase a Level 3 ticket for $199.50 as well as certain single day tickets priced at $74.50 and $84.50.
