LATEST: Country trio the Dixie Chicks are in a flap about naked pictures they posed for as part of a PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS anti-fur ad campaign.

Although the girls are said to be delighted with the shoot, carried out by top snapper ROBERT SEBREE, their managers fear fans won't be so impressed.

Sebree and PETA have both been told not to publish the photographs, and now the Dixie Chicks' aides are making it official by demanding the photographer pulls the candid shot from his website and threatening legal action if he doesn't.

PETA boss DAN McGRATH says, "We're going to respect their wishes and not release the ad. They're very concerned that some of their fans will react negatively to the ads."
