So far James Corden has welcomed stars including Adele, Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber on ‘Carpool Karaoke’, but who would the host most like to have in his passenger seat? Well during a recent round of 73 questions with Vogue, Corden revealed his dream karaoke partner and also the one star he wouldn't stop his car for.

James CordenWho would be James Corden’s dream ‘Carpool Karaoke’ guest?

Corden went for a bit of an obvious choice and picked Beyoncé as the person he’d most like to have a sing-a-long with in the car, which we imagine would be his most epic episode yet. But as for his nightmare guest, Corden picked former roommate Dominic Cooper, jokingly adding, ‘he can walk’.

The Lady In The Van Review

Excellent

Maggie Smith couldn't be more perfect for the title role in this film if it were written for her. But the most astounding thing about this story is that it's true, an event from playwright-screenwriter Alan Bennett's own life. The film cleverly plays with the idea of a writer telling his own story. And it also gives Smith an unforgettable role in a movie that's both entertaining and sharply pointed.

It happened in 1970 Camden, as neighbours worried about a homeless woman parking her van in front of their houses. She turns out to be Mary Shepard (Smith), and resident Alan Bennett (Alex Jennings) offers to let her park her van in his driveway for a few months. She stayed there for 15 years, during which Alan refuses to pry into Mary's personal life and she turns a blind eye to the steady flow of young gentleman callers at his door. Even so, over the years Alan learns some details about Mary's past as a musician, ambulance driver and nun, and that she became homeless because she was on the run from the police.

Bennett takes a cheeky approach to the script, writing two versions of himself: one who lives his life and one who writes about it. The interaction between the two is cleverly played by Jennings and directed with offhanded hilarity by Hytner, who shot the movie in the actual street and house where the events took place. Jennings also adds some emotional interest in Alan's relationship with his mother (Gwen Taylor), who ironically has to move into a nursing home. Opposite him, Smith is as magnetic as ever, reeling off each pithy one-liner with impeccable timing. The role may not seem like much of a stretch, but she delivers it with a prickly mix of attitude and humour, plus a strong undercurrent of pathos.

'Need For Speed' Is Rubbish And It Didn't Make Any Money

Aaron Paul Dominic Cooper Imogen Poots Michael Keaton Kid Cudi

Did anyone else see this coming? A videogame racer featuring no characters – just cars – molded into a movie turns out to be rubbish. That headline’s too long though, so we had to explain it in this first bit. What’s more, Need for Speed didn’t even manage to beat out Mr. Peabody and Sherman or 300: Rise of An Empire at the box office, both of which have already been for a week.

Need for Speed Promo ImageIt's been a bad domestic start for NFS - hopefully it can rake it in internationally

This news will come as a major blow to Buena Vista, who will have undoubtedly hoped the star draw of Aaron Paul – who was on everyone’s lips at the end of last year for his brilliant role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad – would be enough to garner sufficient hype and make Need For Speed a financial juggernaut if nothing else.

After the glamour of the essentially irrelevant Golden Globes on Sunday, the biggest movie news this week was the Oscar nominations announcement on Wednesday. Following events during World War II and his confrontation with Nazi adversary the Red Skull, Steve Rogers awoke 70 years later to find that the world had changed almost beyond recognition. He is now reluctantly a part of superhero law enforcers S.H.I.E.L.D., led by Nick Fury who more than once makes Steve question the ethics of the group and epitomises the blurred line between good guys and bad guys. There are people he can trust though, namely Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow; a fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. spy who embarks alongside him on a mission to tackle the latest global threat. However, when a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. is attacked, they find themselves in mysterious circumstances and start to wonder if someone's keeping something from them. Aaron Paul Has Finished Making Meth, Now Has A 'Need For Speed' [Trailer + Pictures]

Aaron Paul Dakota Johnson Dominic Cooper

When Aaron Paul’s name popped up in a Need for Speed casting meeting, it’s doubtful another name was even considered. The actor has carved out a huge fan base for himself, due solely to his Grammy Award-winning portrayal of Jesse Pinkman in AMC’s Breaking Bad.

Need for SpeedNeed for Speed is coming in Spring 2014

He’s as marketable as Breaking Bad is critically acclaimed, and the two aren’t mutually exclusive. But this project represents a risk for Paul; Need For Speed is a video game franchise being adapted for the cinema, and that doesn’t always mean guaranteed success, critically, anyway.

Amanda Seyfried is allegedly dating actor Justin Long. Sources, speaking to US Weekly, say the couple were seen together at the Lovelace premiere, the recently released film in which Seyfried stars. The source, who was allegedly at the premiere, said "they weren't making out or anything like that, but they were just inseparable during the event. He hung out when she talked with others" and that "Justin stayed close to Amanda all night."

Calling All Timelords! Doctor Who Audition Script Released By Steven Moffat

Matt Smith Steven Moffat Ben Whishaw Rory Kinnear Ben Daniels Dominic Cooper Chiwetel Ejiofor Julian Rhind-Tutt David Harewood

Ever fancied yourself behind the controls to the TARDIS? This could be your chance: the audition script used by the BBC on the hunt for a new timelord has been published in Doctor Who magazine, giving us a glimpse of life after Matt Smith.

Matt Smith
The BBC Are On The Hunt For A Matt Smith Successor.

It could be safe to say that producers aren't on the lookout for a female Doctor Who. Although no indication is given whether the regenerated doctor's gender is the same or not, Jenna Lee Coleman's Clara's lines aren't half as surprised as they would have been had producers planned for the Doc to reappear with boobs and the Doctor doesn't react to a more feminine sounding voice. Sorry Olivia Colman and Helen Mirren; it's probably not going to be you.

Ben Daniels Is New Favourite For 'Doctor Who' Job: Could He Be The One?

Ben Daniels Doctor Who Daniel Kaluuya Ben Whishaw Sue Perkins Olivia Colman Jenna-louise Coleman Domhnall Gleeson Chiwetel Ejiofor Steven Moffat Matt Smith David Tennant Rory Kinnear Dominic Cooper

Ben Daniels is the latest name to become the favourite to inherit the role of Doctor Who in the long-running BBC series. Very soon there'll be very few British male actors who haven't been rumoured to be taking over the controls to the TARDIS as the Merlin actor now has the most favourable odds at 6/1. With previous odds of 16/1, Chiwetel Ejiofor (Salt, American Gangster) now closely follows Daniels at 7/1.

Ben Daniels
Could Ben Daniels Take Over From Matt Smith As The New Doctor?

However, chances are the new Who may not be a male actor at all; there have been calls for the new Doctor to be female, which would mark a first for the series which has run since 1963.

Downton Abbey Star Dan Stevens' Film Summer In February 'Dull'

Dan Stevens Dominic Cooper Emily Browning

Summer in February, the romantic drama starring Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens, Mamma Mia's Dominic Cooper and Sucker Punch's Emily Browning has received less than favourable reviews from critics following its release yesterday.

The film is based on a novel by Jonathon Smith (who also wrote the script). His story is inspired by real people and events. Florence Carter-Wood (Browning), AJ Munnings (Cooper) and Gilbert Evans (Stevens) were bohemian artists who lived and painted in Cornwall at the turn of the 20th Century. The film follows the stories of this 'Lamora' art group and the love triangle between Stevens, Browning and Cooper.

Stevens' involvement is a result of his friendship with Smith. He attended Tonbridge School, Kent where Smith teaches. Stevens left Downton Abbey last season to focus on his film career. Critics have complained not about the quality of Steven's acting but that the star hasn't stretch his talents in choosing a role entirely different from Matthew in Downton Abbey. He remains, according to Michael Hann of the Guardian, 'likeable' but continues to do 'his jolly-decent-Cousin-Matthew thing'.

Summer In February Review

Weak

A simplistic approach undermines this intriguing true story about a romantic triangle among artists in pre-WWI England. The actors do what they can to liven things up, but the writing and direction let it down, never injecting the spark of artistic invention that the project so badly needs. So while there's a certain amount of drama in what happens, the flatly cliched way it's assembled leaves us cold.

The story takes place in 1913 Cornwall, where a group of free-thinking artists live and work on the dramatic coastline. Away from the city, they also get up to all sorts of mischief, usually led by the roguish painter AJ Munnings (Cooper), who seems to be on a mission to seduce every woman in sight. His best pal is the dashing army officer Gilbert (Stevens), who is much more reticent about women. Then aspiring painter Florence (Browning) arrives, and both men are captivated by her. She's the sister of AJ's artist friend Joey (Deacon), and is flattered by the attention. But when she makes a pivotal decision she changes all of their lives.

Director Menaul and writer Smith continually smooth the edges of this story. Sure, there are plenty of naked antics, including a woman (Austen) who's happy to drop her clothing for any painter she sees, but it's shot and edited with the same coyness as a leery Carry On movie. We never get a proper sense of the anarchic nature of this community: they're all mopey stereotypes stuck in the one or two personality traits the filmmakers give them. Gilbert and Florence are particularly dull, giving Stevens and Browning little to do to catch our sympathy. By contrast, Cooper makes AJ both charismatic and cocky, and we like him even though it's clear from the script that we shouldn't.

Dead Man Down Review

Good

Here's yet another preposterous action movie that's made watchable by a skilful director and an engaging cast. While there are some intriguing themes in this spiralling odyssey of revenge, the script never really makes any sense out of the plot, merrily twisting and turning as it whizzes past a series of glaring improbabilities. But Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace put their huge brown eyes to work, holding our sympathies as things get messier by the moment.

Farrell plays Victor, a gun-toting goon working for the slick mobster Alphonse (Howard), who is being taunted by a complex, unnerving plot to bring him down. But Victor is sidetracked by his neighbour Beatrice (Rapace), who comes on strong before revealing that she has seen his handiwork and will report him to the cops if he doesn't help her get revenge against the guy who scarred her face in a drunk-driving accident. This puts Victor in a difficult position since he's already engaged in his own plan to avenge the brutal deaths of his wife and daughter, assisted by a family friend (Abraham) from the old country.

And the plot gets increasingly knotty, as both Victor and Beatrice start to wonder if perhaps falling in love with each other might be a more pleasant way to get over their anger issues. Yes, the film is essentially preaching love and redemption even as the body count nears triple digits. Fortunately, director Oplev brings the same slick-steely style to the film as his original The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. And the always watchable Farrell and Rapace get solid support from Howard and Abraham, as well as Cooper (as Victor's brother in arms), Huppert (as Beatrice's busy-body mum) and the underused Assante (as the big boss).

Sherlock Star Lara Pulver To Be New Bond Girl, But Not THAT Kind Of Bond Girl

Lara Pulver Dominic Cooper

Lara Pulver, best known for her role in the Sherlock episode 'A Scandal in Belgravia' and as Claudine Crane in True Blood, has been cast as the next Bond girl, but wont be staring alongside Daniel Craig and co. in the follow-up to Skyfall.

Pulver will instead be staring alongside Dominic Cooper in the upcoming biopic about Bond creator Ian Fleming, taking on the role of the famed author's wife Ann, with whom Fleming (played by Cooper) was married to for 12 years until his death in 1964.

In an official statement to press, Pulver recognised her role as being one of the most famous Bond girls of all and seemed overwhelmed with her appointment in the role. She said, “I am thrilled to be playing Ann, a real-life high society siren worthy of Fleming’s finest fictional femme fatales." She added, “In extraordinary times Ann had the ear of politicians as powerful as Churchill and counted artists like Lucian Freud among her friends, yet was consumed by a torrid romance with the great Ian Fleming."

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Review

Very Good
A riotous combination of rah-rah American patriotism and overwrought special effects nonsense, this cheeky bit of fantasy history is rather good fun. Yes, it's also completely ridiculous, but the visual flair and fast pace keep us happily entertained.

Young Abe Lincoln (Walker) is determined to get revenge against the sinister Barts (Czokas), who had something to do with his mother's death. But it turns out that Barts is immortal, so Abe's new friend Henry (Cooper) trains him in how to fight vampires. Meanwhile, Abe pursues a career in politics, marries Mary (Winstead) and discovers that the alpha vampire (Sewell) is using the Civil War as a cover for bloodsuckers to take over America. Along with his intrepid friends (Mackie and Simpson), Abe sets out to turn the tide at Gettysburg.

As a boy, Abraham Lincoln learns from his father, Thomas, that vampires are real. Worse still, it was vampires that took the life of Abe's mother, Nancy, rather than 'milk sickness' as he previously believed. The news, understandably, shocks Abraham, who vows to avenge his mother and hunt down and kill vampires.

My Week With Marilyn Review

Very Good
Based on Colin Clark's memoirs, this film sometimes feels a bit too warm and nostalgic for its own good. But the performances are strong, and it's packed with terrific moments.

At age 23, Colin (Redmayne) is struggling to break into the movie business, camping out at the production offices of Laurence Olivier (Branagh), who is just about to start filming the 1957 comedy The Prince and the Showgirl with Marilyn Monroe (Williams). While Marilyn's diva behaviour and strict acting coach (Wanamaker) enrage Laurence, he can't deny that when she gets it right, she's magic. Meanwhile, Colin is assigned to help Marilyn make it through the shoot. And of course he can't help falling for her.

The Devil's Double Review

Excellent
Anchored by a fierce double performance from Dominic Cooper, this true story is so intensely violent that it's not easy to watch. But it's an extremely well-made film, and the tight point of view makes it both riveting and urgent.

In 1990 Iraq, Saddam Hussein's son Uday (Cooper) is on a rampage of rape, torture and murder when he grabs his old school friend Latif Yahia (Cooper again) and forces him to become his stand-in. Latif isn't allowed to say no and, after extensive training and plastic surgery, plus the approval of Saddam (Quast), he becomes Uday's doppelganger. But he never hides his belief that Uday is a psychopath, even to his mentor Munem (Rawl). And he takes an even bigger risk when he falls for one of Uday's girls, Sarrab (Sagnier).

Video - Dominic Cooper Kept False Teeth From Saddam Hussein Movie

Dominic Cooper, the British actor and star of the upcoming action-drama 'The Devil's Double', claims to have kept the false teeth he wore for the role. Cooper portrays the man forced to become a body double for Saddam Hussein's sadistic son Uday.

The actor, who took on a dramatic physical transformation for the part, says he still has the prosthetic teeth in his bathroom, joking that he only brings them out "for special nights". Cooper's new movie hits cinemas in the U.S. on Friday (29th July 2011) before opening in the UK on 12th August 2011

Captain America: The First Avenger Review

Excellent
Director Johnston once again channels Steven Spielberg, this time for a raucously entertaining Indiana Jones-style adventure. With the energetic punch of a vintage serial, it actually leaves us wanting more.In 1942 New York, Steve Rogers (Evans) is desperate to join the war in Europe with his buddy James (Stan), but is too weedy to fight. Then a scientist (Tucci) spots him, and soon he's partnered with gorgeous Agent Carter (Atwell) and put in a top-secret programme that amplifies his muscles and will-power.

But as "Captain America" he's just a propaganda tool until he gets a chance to prove himself on the front line as a key weapon against the deeply evil Nazi Schmidt (Weaving).Shot more like a rollicking adventure than a typical superhero movie, the script spends just about enough time on the origin story to grab our attention, including nifty effects that render Evans as a 90-pound weakling. Then the action kicks off, powering through one set piece after another. Refreshingly, it never bothers to deepen the story with random sideplots, superfluous characters or knowing winks. So it's a lot of fun to watch.

The action sequences are thrilling without being too suspenseful and, for the most part, the filmmakers keep the stunts and explosions within believable proportions. In fact, the film has a wonderfully dishevelled look, combining more rough-and-ready filmmaking touches with the slick 1940s clothes and architecture. Which almost makes it feel like one of the propaganda films it so cleverly recreates.

Tamara Drewe Review

Very Good
Jaunty and often very funny, this is a spoof of romance novels set in a village where writers go to get away from distractions, only to create their own mischief. Spoofs of spoofs are difficult to pull off, but Frears gives it a good go.

Bestselling author Nicholas (Allam) and his efficient wife Beth (Greig) use their Dorset farm as a writer's retreat, while the goings on in the nearby village provide plenty of inspiration. Especially when notorious journalist Tamara (Arterton) returns to town. Her childhood boyfriend (Evans) is stunned when she falls for posing rocker Ben (Cooper), who's the object of obsession for two local 15-year-old girls (Barden and Christie). Meanwhile, Beth's patience with Nicholas' straying eye is being sorely tested just as a visiting writer (Camp) starts paying her some attention.

Gemma Arterton - 2010 Trailer

Tamara Drewe might originally be from the countryside but it's been years since she's visited the place of her youth. Much has changed in the small village from her childhood, but so has she! (with the help from a little cosmetic surgery).

Tamara returns the the village with her city ways to see a few of the other people have also adopted the city lifestyle. There's the rockstar (who's just after one thing..), the city workers who return to the village every weekend and there's the old citizens, the ones who've been around for ever. The beauty (and her hotpants) make a huge impact in the little village and all the men seem to adore her, but when it comes to finding the man who would be best for her, she might just surprise herself with her choice.
