It's bad news for a film if one its stars admits that he found the story difficult to follow, but that was Dominic West 's assessment of latest Disney flop 'John Carter.' The film is expected to lose $126 million, reports the Bbc, making it one of the least successful movies in history, and even West admitted that he was surprised, stating "I didn't realise it was such a flop. I thought it went badly in America and did OK in the rest of the world."
West went on to say he found the story - which sees a war veteran who is transported to Mars - "difficult to follow," but defended other aspects of it. "I had absolute faith in the story as it was Andrew Stanton," he said as he collected a Best Actor award at the Royal Television Society awards in London for his role in 'Appropriate Adult.'
