Fact: Uma Thurman and Richard Gere were among mourners at best-selling crime author Dominick Dunne's funeral in New York on Thursday (10Sep09). The revered writer and Vanity Fair magazine contributor died last month (26Aug09) after losing his battle with bladder cancer, aged 83.
