Dougie Poynter has been signed to Storm Model Management.

The McBusted bassist is following in the footsteps of supermodels Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss after being snapped up by industry bosses.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''Dougie has got great style, and he's really caught the eye of some top scouts.

''His career looks like it will really take off in the future.''

The 26-year-old musician features under the Storm Artists listing alongside other famous faces, including musician Paolo Nutini and Hollywood star Julianne Moore.

The announcement came a day after the 'Star Girl' hitmaker was spotted at the model company's London Fashion Week party at Red Bull Studios to launch Red Bull Zero on Monday (17.02.14).

The heatthrob set tongues wagging when he was seen deep in conversation with singer Ellie Goulding, sparking rumours of a romance, although he previously said they are ''just friends''.

The pair, who were first spotted together in December, left the venue in a black taxi and Storm later confirmed on their official Insagram that they had signed the musician.

They posted: ''We are totally delighted to announce that we now rep the awesome dude @dougiemcfly! #McFitty #StormArtisits (sic)''
