Fact: Kristin Chenoweth is set to have a reunion with her Descendants daughter Dove Cameron - the Disney star has been cast to play the actress' offspring once again in the upcoming Hairspray Live! TV event. Dove will play mean girl Amber Von Tussle while Tony winner Kristin takes on her snobbish stage mum Velma Von Tussle. Hairspray Live will air in the U.S. on 7 December (16).

Fact: Disney Channel star Dove Cameron and her beau Ryan MCCartan have confirmed they are engaged after months of speculation. Ryan, 22, revealed the happy news as he dedicated his 1000th post on social media site Instagram to his "fiancee", writing: "Dedicating my 1,000th post to my fiancee. I can’t believe I get to call you that. Thanks for saying yes". The announcement comes after fans had questioned whether the longtime couple was betrothed, as both Liv and Maddie star Dove and Ryan have been seen wearing simple bands on their ring fingers for the past few years.
