Drake and Rihanna’s relationship has always seemed complicated, but there’s no doubt the on/off couple have a lot of love for each other.

On Monday Drake showed his love for Ri Ri once again, when he wished her a happy birthday during his show in Dublin.

In a video shared by an audience member, Drake is heard telling the crowd: “It’s somebody’s birthday today – somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for.

“So, instead of singing ‘Happy Birthday,’ though, we just gonna do this in Dublin tonight. Instead of singing ‘Happy Birthday,’ we’re going to set it off just like this…,” before ‘Work’, his collaboration with Rihanna started playing.

Rihanna and Drake have been rumoured to be dating for years now and last summer it appeared they were official, before things cooled off again. Still Drake has never been shy about showing his love for Ri Ri.

Presenting her with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs last August, Drake said: "She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old.

“She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I've looked up to her, even though she's younger than me. She's a living breathing legend in our industry."

Drake was last rumoured to be dating Jennifer Lopez, however earlier this month it was reported the romance had come to an end. A source told E! News the pair had "taken some time apart, not because they don't want to be with each other, just because their schedules started getting insane."
