The Rio hitmakers will be handed the award at the annual ceremony, which is held in aid of music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins, in London on 3 July (15).

In a statement, the British band says, "As musicians, it means a lot to us to be recognised by a charity which does such great work using music to help people."

Awards bosses have previously announced that other stars who will be honoured at the 2015 ceremony include Rita Ora, Mark Ronson, Primal Scream, and veteran metal band Iron Maiden, who will receive the prestigious O2 Silver Clef Award for outstanding contribution to music.
