R&B singer Eamon has fought back against his chart rival Frankee, by denying the fact that they used to date. The New York based rapper shot to fame with the release of his song, 'F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)', which serves as a bitter song about an ex-girlfriend. But the 19-year-old singer was surprised when he discovered Frankee had released a new track entitled 'F.U.R.B. (F U Right Back)', which is supposedly her response after their two month relationship.

According to Eamon: "There was big try-out and I actually know some of the girls who wanted to do the song, but I haven't met Frankee in my life. I think it's corny to death, but it's funny. I was not involved with 'F U Right Back' and Frankee is definitely not my girlfriend or ex-girlfriend." Eamon went on to state that he's not upset by the rumours, as he's all set to make a lot of money from the song.

Eamon explained his connection to Frankee, saying: "The only way I was associated with her song was when I was asked for licensing permission by Frankee's representatives, which makes me a writer on her song by copyright law. They are having fun, it's cool, but in the end they are paying me for their fifteen minutes of fame and I welcome her to my world of ho-wop. I never knew she was going to say she was my ex-girlfriend. It's the funniest thing because even my aunt called me up and said, 'Is this really your ex-girlfriend?' It's all good though. Everytime it gets played, I get paid."

However, despite this response from Eamon, Frankee stands by her story, saying: "I don't where he got that story from. That girls were auditioned to create my track. After hearing the record, I started thinking that maybe it was about me and I actually have a friend at a record label. I presented the idea to her, so we wrote the song together."
