Up is the magical tale of Mr Fredricksen and Russell a boy scout who's trying to do a good deed (whilst earning a new badge) and help the elderly members of the neighbourhood. When Mr Fredricksen is forced to go into a retirement home, he decides it's time to make good on a promise he made with his wife 70 years ago - to travel to South America and explore the wilderness.
Before the retirement home take him into care Mr Fredricksen decides he will tie thousands of balloons to his house and set sail for distant lands. When he discovers Russell on his porch hanging on for dear life, he takes him into his home and the duo set out on an amazing adventure. Along the way Mr Fredricksen and Russell pick up new friends including Kevin a colourful bird and Dug a talking dog!
